This four-week online workshop provides the regulatory information, tools, and resources for management of USAID subawards. It addresses the different types of subawards, steps to assess and work with subrecipients, and how to identify and mitigate risks in subawards.

Target Audience

Any staff who work in programs that use USAID subawards, including:

  • prime recipient/pass through entity staff who manage or support subawards
  •  staff at subrecipient organizations who implement or support the work of subawards
  • staff who ensure accountability or compliance of program implementation work

Relevant to organizations that give or receive USAID subawards of any amount.

Relevant to organizations that are considering submitting funding proposals that may include the provision or receipt of subawards and organizations that are building subaward-management standard operating procedures.
