Trey Olcott, CIMA®
Trey services institutional clients by providing counsel and guidance on portfolio design, asset allocation, manager selection, investment policy statements, and performance monitoring. Prior to joining the firm, Trey was a consultant at ORION Investment Advisors and held positions at BNY Mellon, PIMCO and Legg Mason. Trey earned a BS in Finance from the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. He obtained the title Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) from Investments & Wealth Institute’s (formerly IMCA) accreditation program at the Wharton School of Business. In his free time, Trey enjoys traveling, golf and volunteering with local charitable organizations.
Ahmed Farruk, CIMA®
Ahmed services institutional clients by providing advice and counsel on all areas of fund oversight including policy, asset allocation, manager research, portfolio structure, portfolio rebalancing, performance monitoring and overall investment policy. Prior to joining the firm, he was Deputy Managing Director at ORION Investment Advisors, which was acquired by DiMeo Schneider in 2017. He received a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia and obtained the title Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) from the Investments & Wealth Institute’s (formerly IMCA) accreditation program at the Wharton School of Business. A member of the Investments & Wealth Institute, he also serves on the editorial board of the Institute’s bimonthly educational magazine, Investments & Wealth Monitor and in 2016 Ahmed was selected as a subject matter expert to help write questions for the CIMA® certification exam. Ahmed currently served as the Immediate Past Chair of the ASAE Finance and Business Operations Section Council and is a co-author of Association Investment Policies, Practices and Performance, published by the ASAE Foundation. When he’s not playing with his young daughter, Ahmed is nervously following his Virginia Cavaliers athletic teams.
