This online workshop helps individuals and organizations develop, implement, and maintain effective financial management systems to be eligible for US Government funding, reduce audit risk, and build effective collaboration across the organization. If you are a prime and/or subrecipient of grants, cooperative agreements, and/or contracts, this highly participatory online program offers you and your team the most comprehensive knowledge of the fundamentals of financial management of US Government funding, including budget management, maximizing cost recovery, and how to deal with donor audits and reviews.

This version of the workshop is entirely online and takes place over 6 weeks. The training approach is similar to a participatory face-to-face workshop, integrating discussion with fellow participants and interaction with facilitators.  The eWorkshop is asynchronous, which means you access resources, participate in discussions, and complete activities at your convenience.  Regular internet access and the ability to participate in team activities throughout the work week are ingredients for success in the eWorkshop.

This course is one of three required to earn Humentum’s Certificate in USAID Assistance Management.

USAID Rules & Regulations: Grants & Cooperative Agreements or USAID Contract Management for NGOs: An Introduction
