Event policy

Any request to cancel, transfer and send a substitution to a workshop must be submitted in writing via email to Humentum.  Please find our policies below: 
 
Cancellation Policy   

If a participant has not responded after receiving a payment reminder, Humentum reserves the right to cancel the registration.   
 

  • Cancellations made 40-60 days prior to the start of the workshop, will receive a full credit toward a future Humentum event or may be eligible to receive a refund. 
  • Cancellations made 21-39 days prior to the start of the workshop, will receive a full credit toward a future Humentum event.
  • Cancellations made 1-20 days prior to the start of a workshop, will receive 75% of their payment as a credit. 

 
Replacements/substitutions:  If you have to cancel a place and can find a suitable replacement* (up to and including the date of the workshop) there will be no cancellation charge. If you are unable to find a replacement, cancellation charges will apply. 
*Please ensure the substitute participant has the necessary qualifications and background to take part in the course, including any course prerequisites.  
 
No Shows: Registrants who do not show up for the workshop without prior notification will forfeit the full registration fee. Cancellations made on the day of a workshop will be treated as no shows. 
 
Refunds:  Refunds may be permitted if a cancellation is made prior to 40 days of the beginning of a workshop.  Under exceptional circumstances, refunds are provided if warranted.     

Credits:  Paid registrations that are cancelled prior to the start of the workshop will receive a credit to attend a future workshop with Humentum or purchase a Humentum product.  The credit amount is based on the date of cancellation. Credits may be applied within one year from the date of cancellation by the cancelled registrant or another colleague. 
 

Visa Information: Please make sure that you fully research visa entry requirements before you make your reservation and allow enough time for visa processing. Where required, we will provide a letter to support a visa application when the registration has been paid in full. Any additional costs associated with providing a visa letter, for example the cost of sending the letter by courier, will be separately invoiced.  Currently, we are unable to provide letters of invitation to any of our face to face events in the United States, Europe, and Australia. We encourage participants to seek support from their employers to facilitate visas. If you have to cancel your booking because of a failed visa request, cancellation charges may apply. 
 
CONSENT FOR USE OF IMAGE AND VOICE

Attendance at Humentum events constitutes an agreement by the attendee to Humentum's use and distribution of the attendee's image and/or voice in photos, video or audio tapes recording during these events.

*COURSE CHANGES AND CANCELLATION:*
Sometimes, due to unforeseen circumstances, we may have to change the date of scheduled courses or even cancel them.  We work hard to avoid having to make changes to planned courses but if it is necessary to do so, we will notify you 3 weeks before the course start date. 
** You are strongly advised to take out travel insurance if you are booking flights and accommodation as Humentum does not accept any liability for costs incurred due to changes to course schedules.

Online workshops cancellation policies

Course fees must be paid in full prior to the start of an online training. Participants will not be accepted on to an online training if their payment has not been received prior to day one of their session. The only exception is if a participant has registered less than two weeks before the start of the online training. Last-minute registrants will be accepted on to the training if they send proof of payment, such as a bank receipt or remittance, via email to Humentum before day one of the course.If a participant has not responded after receiving a payment reminder, Humentum reserves the right to cancel their registration. The participant will be notified of such event by email.

Participant cancellations:

  • Participants have the right to cancel their place on an online training. Cancellation fees may apply as follows:
  • For cancellations made 40-60 days prior to the start of the workshopand when course fees have been paid, participants will receive a fullcredit toward a future Humentum event. Alternatively, they can request a refund.
  • For cancellations made 1-39 days prior to the start of the workshop and when course fees have been paid participants will receive a full credit toward a future Humentum event.
  • For cancellations made 0-6 days after the start of a workshop, participants will receive 75% of their course fee as a credit.
  • For cancellations made 7-13 days after the start of a workshop, participants will receive 25% of their payment as credit.
  • For cancellations made more than 13 days after the start of a workshop, participants will not receive any credit.Replacements/substitutions:If a participant must cancel a place and can find a suitable replacement* (up to and including the 6th day after the workshop start date) there will
