Event policy

Open, Face to Face Workshop Payment Policy

Payment is due before the start of the workshop. If a participant has not responded after receiving a payment reminder, Humentum reserves the right to cancel the registration.

Open, Face to Face Workshop Attendance Policy

Participation is required in order to receive the certificate of completion and CPEs. Participants who miss more than 20% of the course will not be eligible to receive the certificate at the end of the workshop.

Open, Face to Face Workshop Cancellation Policy

Any request to cancel or transfer registration must be submitted via email to workshops@humentum.org.

Cancellations made 30 or more days before start date will receive a full refund; minus any applicable wire transfer fees
Cancellations made 29 – 15 days before start date will receive a 75% of their payment refund; minus any applicable wire transfer fees
Cancellations made 15 days – 1 day before start date will receive 50% of their payment as refund; minus any applicable wire transfer fees
No Shows

Registrants who do not show up for the workshop without prior notification will forfeit the full registration fee. Cancellations made on the day of a workshop will be treated as no shows.

Substitutions

If you are no longer able to attend, we are happy to allow a transfer of your registration onto the same workshop. If you are unable to find a substitution*, cancellation charges will apply.

*Please ensure the substitute participant has the necessary qualifications and background to take part in the course, including any course prerequisites.

Changes & Cancellations initiated by Humentum We work hard to avoid changes to planned courses, but occasionally we may have to change the date or cancel scheduled courses. We will notify you 21 calendar days before the workshop start date with the option to reschedule for a future date or receive a refund of registration fees.

Visas

Please fully research visa entry requirements before registering and allow enough time for visa processing. We encourage participants to seek support from their employers to facilitate visas. We will provide a letter to support a visa application when the registration has been paid in full, except we are unable to provide letters for any events in the United States, Europe and Australia. If you have to cancel your booking because of a failed visa request, cancellation policies still apply.

Notice on tax liabilities

Humentum invoices are net of taxes, including withholding tax and VAT, levied in countries outside of the United States. The responsibility for assessment, collection and payment of local and national taxes lies with the customer; Humentum accepts no liability for payment of local taxes due on the services provided.

Consent for use of image and voice

Attendance at Humentum events constitutes an agreement by the attendee to Humentum's use and distribution of the attendee's image and/or voice in photos, video or audio tapes recording during these events.

Online Payment Policy

Online Attendance Policy

Participation is required in order to receive the certificate of completion. Online workshop learners must complete all required elements of the course (which could include modules, assignments or discussions).

Cancellations after start date and no shows Cancellations made on or after the start date of the online workshop, as well as registrants who do not log-in to complete the workshop during the course duration will forfeit the full registration fee.
Substitutions

Transfers Transfer requests for a future workshop will be accepted up to 11 days after course start date at 50% of their payment as credit. Transfers will not be permitted after 11 days of workshop start date.
