Mark Nilles

Director, Learning and Impact

Mark Nilles joined Humentum in July 2013 and currently serves as the director of learning and impact. His work focuses on introducing new teaching and learning techniques to the Humentum portfolio, contributing to our credentialing efforts, and helping define and demonstrate the impact that we and our members have within the international development and relief sector. Expanding the reach and impact of learning through eLearning is an important aspect of Mark’s work.

Prior to joining Humentum, Mark was director of programming and training for Peace Corps in various country offices. Prior to Peace Corps, Mark worked at the International Youth Foundation, one of our member organizations, where he supported both operations and program implementation for youth livelihood projects. Mark supported training efforts through his work with field offices and local implementing partners and as a master trainer for the Passport to Success life skills training program. Mark has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and a master’s degree in international education from Florida State University.
