This position will bring sector transformation in relevant sectors for that specific market, and lead and manage markets transformation team in a region/geography to create and implement strategies/plans to achieve our markets objectives in that area.
Leads creation and implementation of markets strategy/plans (business development plans) in that region/countries to achieve goals in that Core Market.
Responsible for volume/royalty goals in that region/geography.
Develops and manages key market and stakeholder relations essential to transform the sustainability landscape of the core markets and globally.
Manages team of officers, account managers, country managers (depending on specific region) ensuring creation and implementation of market plans and achievement of objectives at core market and country level
Coaches and mentors markets’ team so they can achieve and exceed their goals.
Defines and leads cross-departmental groups/discussions to define and implement plans and initiatives to achieve regions’ goals .
Monitors and researches developments in the core market to identify opportunities/threats relevant to our advocacy and supply work; and leads effort to design and implement actions with advocacy, comms and regional units to realize those opportunities or mitigate that risk .
Leads work with regional team from main countries supplying RA products to core market in developing information and initiatives relevant to core market.
Develops and manages implementation of account plans for the most strategic accounts in the core sector.
Align with Global Advocacy Team on Public Affairs strategy for Core Markets.
Represent Rainforest Alliance in discussions with relevant groups, stakeholders and Government to advance Rainforest Alliance’s agenda.
Business development plans are created by region/country and progress is reported to Markets, Advocacy and Regional Directors quarterly.
Creation and monitoring of account plans/goals for most important accounts in region.
Master's degree in business administration; supply chain management; or related.
Experience developing and implementing business development, marketing or strategic plans.
At least 7 years of experience relevant to supply chain management in Core Market.
People management – 5 years.
Experience developing market initiatives in partnership with origin stakeholders.
Business fluency in both English and language relevant to Core Market.
