Jason Matechak is a lawyer with the Impresa Legal Group where he specializes in procurement and grants, non-profit operations and governance, and international matters particularly focused on international development. He also currently serves as the director for the Center for Public Procurement Law and Policy at the International Law Institute. In addition to training for Humentum, he has worked as a trainer for the World Bank and the Institute for Public Private Partnerships. He was previously a partner at the international law firm of Reed Smith; legal advisor to the International Development Law Organization in Rome; and general counsel to International Relief & Development. He has served as a delegate to the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) Working Group on Public Procurement. Prior to being admitted to legal practice he served as a legal and institutional reform officer and a contract negotiator for USAID.
