This workshop is available in the following formats: In-Person, English and Online Workshop, English.
Managing donor funding requires best practice systems and processes to ensure compliance and deliver impact. Developing a strong organizational approach will help you meet any donor's requirements. This workshop explores the best practices for seeking, negotiating, and managing donor funding. First, you will examine the factors to consider when deciding to pursue funding from donors. Then, you will learn the five core systems to have in place to effectively manage donor funding through each of the key project phases: negotiation, start-up, implementation, and close-out.
Our expert facilitators also cover managing donor relationships from the proposal stage to close-out, including key considerations for developing and maintain productive working relationships. Each topic will be examined from the perspective of senior leadership, program staff, and operational staff using real life scenarios to exemplify the key phases and components of managing an award.
