Pape Amadou GayeKeynote Speaker
Keynote Speaker: Pape Amadou Gaye
We Can’t Go On Like This: How to Finally Let Go of Development’s Status Quo:
To achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, we need new development models that put the Global South in the driver’s seat and shift the Global North to a new—and potentially uncomfortable, for some—supporting role. Pape Gaye will highlight inspiring, effective examples of collective action, discuss novel and agile development models, and challenge participants to work together in new ways for greater impact in low- and lower-middle income countries.
Gaye draws on three decades of leadership in international health and development as he oversees work in around 40 countries to strengthen their health workforces and health systems. Read his full bio below.
