We’re celebrating 40 years of serving the international development community! The 40th Anniversary Dinner Celebration will take place following Day 1 of our annual conference. The dinner celebration is ticketed separately from the overall conference admission ticket.
We are expecting more than 500 attendees—members, exhibitors, industry partners, and their guests—to join us for a relaxed and lively evening! The event will be opened with a performance by Batalá Washington, the all-women Afro-Brazilian Samba Reggae band. The event continues with our program—hosted by Eric Walker, one of Humentum’s founders and currently the CFO at Population Council—that honors the Humentum community past, present, and future, and also includes our annual Excellence Awards Ceremony.

This Grammy Award-nominated “Afro-Pop” musical duo from Mali has an international fan base that requires no translation to enjoy their legendary shows. Get ready to dance as we close out our celebration dinner with a live performance by these special guests.

This event is non-refundable. However, if you are no longer able to attend, you are welcome to send someone in your place. To request a cancellation or to make a change, please contact Clare Larson. Any change requests must be made before Tuesday, July 18.
No, registration to the Annual Conference does not include admission to the celebration dinner. You may purchase a ticket to the dinner at the same time that you register for the Annual Conference. Alternatively, you can purchase a ticket separately at any time via this page. All conference participants are welcome to join us at the Annual Conference reception from 5:30-7:00pm, immediately preceeding the celebration dinner.
Vegetarian/vegan and gluten-free options will be available. If you have specific dietary restrictions, please contact Laura Malaguerra. We will do our best to accommodate needs, but cannot guarantee all requests.
Each attendee will need to have their own ticket. However, you are welcome to purchase tickets on behalf of multiple individuals. If you would like assistance purchasing tickets for an individual or group, please contact Clare Larson.
