Q + A

What is your favorite place you’ve been to, and where do you want to go next?

Probably Zimbabwe. I got to spend a few days around Hwange National Park and saw hundreds of elephants at the watering hole every day. Waking up to elephants trumpeting was definitely better than waking up to my alarm.

Even though I’ve spent most of my life in Nepal, I haven’t traveled around the country as much as I would like to. That’s one item on my bucket list.

Describe your ideal weekend.

One that involves brunch, lazing around at a park, an afternoon nap, hiking, exploring new types of food/restaurants, reading a good book

What is your favorite ice cream flavor? Or dessert in general?

A scoop of coffee flavored ice cream with a scoop of a fruity flavored one. Desserts in general is a much longer list:  mango with sticky rice, panna cotta, flan, cheesecake with a fruit coulis, crème brulée, profiteroles, and finally, French macarons.

What are your favorite hobbies outside of work?

Traveling, reading, listening to audiobooks, going on long walks, and trying but mostly failing at recreating family recipes.
