Joan Asuma

Events Coordinator


Joan Asuma joined Humentum in December 2018 as an Events Coordinator. She is a member of the learning and operations team working with the learning team, membership and client service team. In this position, she is responsible for logistics, coordination, and support of Humentum events. This position offers her an opportunity to create a positive learner journey for clients and allows her to work with cross-cultural and interdisciplinary teams leading to the acquisition of cultural intelligence and a broad skill set.

Prior to this role, she was working with RedR UK Nairobi office in the Training Team and for World Vision Regional Office in the Administration department. She is enthusiastic about logistics and events management. Joan graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Nairobi.

What are your favorite hobbies outside of work?

My hobbies outside of work are cooking, meeting up with friends, and traveling to exotic destinations.

Describe your ideal weekend.

My ideal weekend is bonding with my daughter over lunch or a movie.
