Skills and Experience:
Fahreen Chudasama graduated from the University of Guelph, Ontario with an Honours Degree International Development, Special Emphasis in Rural and Agricultural Development. Before consultancy, she worked for over a decade with international NGO's leading, diversifying and managing significant funding portfolios in large scale humanitarian emergencies as well as long term development programmes across Africa. Fahreen has been currently nominated to become an expert reviewer for the upcoming W.K. Kellogg Foundation, Racial Equity 2030 Global Challenge Fund.
Fahreen is a consultant based in Nairobi, Kenya – Fahreen has more than 15 years of experience in the non-profit sector leading and supporting institutional fundraising and new business development initiatives in West, Horn, East and Central Africa. She has previously worked for INGO's such as Oxfam GB and VSO as their Business Development Manager and Regional Programme Funding Manager managing institutional funding portfolios of £50million. Fluent in French, her key areas of expertise include: the development of funding strategies, donor engagement plans, partnership development, donor trends analysis and new business development (through competitive bid development) for a diverse range of organisations. Fahreen also has extensive experience in managing institutional donor funding from FCDO, the EC, ECHO and SIDA among others.
