Amanda Hinkel-Mauceri

Events Manager

Summary

Amanda Hinkel-Mauceri joined Humentum in February 2018 as events coordinator and moved to the role as events manager in 2019. In this role, she oversees international and domestic learning events. 

Amanda is skilled in and passionate about creating, supporting, and implementing educational opportunities for people in the nonprofit sector. In addition to her role at Humentum, Amanda works as a gallery educator at The Phillips Collection in Washington, DC, where she gives talks on 19th and 20th century American and European Art. Prior to joining Humentum, Amanda was the marketing and events coordinator at Great Minds, where she was responsible for coordinating quarterly team retreats, special events, and supporting the initiatives of the marketing and sales teams. She has also held positions at the United States Capitol: Capitol Visitors Center and MASS MoCA. Today, Amanda divides her time between working and volunteering with various educational and food aid nonprofits in Washington, DC. Amanda graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Arts Administration and Art History from Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

What are your favorite hobbies outside of work?

My favorite hobbies are discovering new artists and pieces at museums and galleries across DC. I also love to be outside, read, and volunteer in the community. 

What is your favorite ice cream flavor?

My favorite ice cream flavor is cookies and cream.
