Amanda Hinkel joined Humentum in February 2018 as events coordinator. In this role, she coordinates the logistics and materials production with vendors across the globe for Humentum’s international workshops.
Amanda is skilled and passionate about creating, supporting, and implementing educational opportunities for people in the nonprofit sector. In addition to her role at Humentum, Amanda works as a gallery educator at The Phillips Collection in Washington, DC, where she researches and delivers talks on 19th and 20th century American and European Art. Prior to joining Humentum, Amanda was the marketing and events coordinator at Great Minds, where she was responsible for coordinating quarterly team retreats and special events as well as supporting the initiatives of the marketing and sales teams. She has also held positions at the United States Capitol: Capitol Visitors Center and interned at MASS MoCA, a contemporary art museum in North Adams, Massachusetts. Today, Amanda divides her time between working and volunteering with various educational and food aid nonprofits in Washington, DC.
Amanda graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Arts Administration and Art History from Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
